چکیده مقاله
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in English language teaching and learning has brought about a significant transformation in enhancing student engagement and improving language skills. This paper examines the impact of AI-powered technologies on language learning, motivation, and overcoming educational barriers. The findings show that AI personalizes the learning process, helping students adjust the pace and style of learning according to their individual needs. This feature contributes to the improvement of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, enhancing overall learning efficiency.

AI’s ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses allows it to automatically tailor content and exercises for each student. This personalization leads to a more effective learning experience, significantly impacting student performance. Additionally, features such as real-time feedback, interactive elements, and gamification in AI platforms create an engaging and dynamic learning environment, boosting student motivation and participation.

AI also helps reduce educational gaps by providing access to quality educational resources in underserved regions, contributing to educational equity. However, the use of AI in education comes with challenges, such as data privacy concerns, potential biases in algorithms, and the risk of reduced human interaction.

This paper emphasizes the need for transparent and responsible use of AI and demonstrates that, with proper management, this technology can transform English language learning into an effective, equitable, and engaging experience that aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
